No Needle Mesotherapy

What's it all about?

No needle mesotherapy is extremely similar to our other treatment of needle mesotherapy that we offer. Skin Needling or Micro-Needling is a form of Collagen Induction Therapy which is intended to significantly improve the appearance of acne scars, aged and sun damaged skin, facial and lines, wrinkles and stretch marks. The procedure is normally completed within 30-45 minutes depending on the required treatment. A topical solution of an array of ingredients including hyaluronic acid, silica, sodium pyruvate and vitamin C. The solution is penetrated within the skin with a special wand that runs smoothly over the face. The required solutions within the treatment then naturally sink within the pores and act upon the skin. This is a non-invasive treatment and has limited to no down time.

The Science Behind it

The special wand that is used to encourage the solutions to enter the skin causes reactions known as electroporation and electro-osmosis. Electroporation increases the permeability of the cell membrane into the cell, thus allowing the solution to be encouraged within the skin cells. Electro-osmosis is the flow of the solution across the cell membrane; this is a natural occurrence within the skin however during this treatment, it makes the process faster. The solutions are encouraged into the middle layers of the skin to not only improve the appearance of the outer layers, but also to improve the health of the inner cells and promote healing and growth. As this is a non-invasive treatment, no needles or local anaesthetic is required.
